Dr. Hollenberg is a long-time Rochester resident. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed a Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Dr. Rosella gained a personal understanding of disease management when a family member contracted a severe illness. He brings that experience with him to UMI with patient-centered, empathetic medical care.
Dr. Weinberg specializes in Cross-Sectional Imaging in MRI, CT, and Ultrasound. His in-depth knowledge of these sub-specialty areas results in a higher level of accuracy and care.
Regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19):
UMI is currently not imaging patients who have traveled in the last 14 days to areas restricted by the CDC due to the coronavirus, have been exposed to someone infected with the coronavirus or are being referred to rule out the coronavirus. If you meet any of these criteria, please contact your referring physician for instructions regarding whether your imaging can wait or, if urgent, which facilities can accept patients who are potentially infected with coronavirus.
At this time, UMI is not equipped to image patients potentially infected with coronavirus (COVID-19).

Welcome to University Medical Imaging, where the experience is better. Your doctor has ordered a radiology exam, and understandably, you’re a little nervous. Not to worry. At UMI we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Everything we do is designed to give you a comfortable imaging experience. Prior to your visit, a Care Coordinator will call to confirm your appointment and answer any questions you may have. When you arrive, a staff member will walk you through the process so you know exactly what to expect. During your exam, a Technologist will be there to ensure everything goes smoothly. And afterward, your images will be reviewed by your Radiologist, a physician who specializes in interpreting radiology exams. Our Radiologists are leaders in their field and will ensure the highest degree of accuracy and collaborate with your doctor in your care.
At UMI, we never forget the human side of imaging. To us, radiology is not about assembly-line testing. It’s the art of interpretation combined with the science of accuracy. And something more—the sensitivity and caring that enables us to see you, as a person, in your own light.
