Safety first.
With 27 years of experience in the field, Kerry has advanced training in a wide variety of exam modalities, including CT, X-ray, surgical imaging, and mammography. Her passions for physics, medicine, and computer technology led her to the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which she has specialized in exclusively since 1990.
Patient safety and comfort are always concerns in MRI. For Kerry and her colleagues at UMI, they are a number one priority. Whether it is finding new ways to calm claustrophobia-prone patients, or ensuring that all equipment and procedures comply with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards, Kerry is committed to providing the best possible MRI experience for patients.
Kerry received her degree in radiologic technology from St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital Center. Licensed with the NYS Department of Health and a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), is also listed on the world-wide Society of Magnetic Radiologic Technologists (SMRT) database and most recently Kerry has been certified as an MRI Safety Officer (MRSO) through the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS).
