Dr. Weinberg is a specialist in Cross-Sectional Imaging with a particular emphasis in MRI and CT. As UMI Medical Director, he personifies UMI’s philosophy of treating each patient with the highest levels of competence, technology and compassion.

An Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Weinberg has also pursued research in the areas of renal ultrasound outcomes, color Doppler of patellar tendinosis, and sonography of Achilles tendon. His research has been cited, and has resulted in published articles, in such respected publications as the American Journal of Radiology.

Dr. Weinberg completed a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at the University of Rochester Medical Center and a Residency in Radiology at Albany Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College.

Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Weinberg is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American College of Radiology.
